The V7ndotcom Elursrebmem Competition was organised by John Scott of V7N network primarily though the V7N Webmaster Forum.

It was called the V7ndotcom Elursrebmem competition because Elursrebmem is Members Rule backwards – It was effectively V7N.com Members Rule

Where previously the SERPS competition had been poorly organised and ended in a fizzle but was fun, The Nigritude Ultramarine competition had been organised well and was also fun, the Mangeur de Cigogne competition had been pure fun, the V7ndotcom Elursrebmem competition was different.

There appeared to be a lot more arrogance, it appeared a lot less friendly and a lot more grey or even black hat SEO going on.

My initial tactics were similar to Nigritude Ultramarine in that I was going to keep a running diary of what I was doing and what I could see was going on.

Below are links to the pages I created during the competition, each night I would sit down for half an hour and write 1 new page. After writing it I would include a link to it from this page so I was effectively keeping an online diary of events.
